In answer to many requests for feedback on our service and
our resorts we have added these comments from our returning guests.
From Bill McMartin who spent 6 very relaxing days at Treasure Beach Hotel Dec/09
Thanks Susan - all went well. It was really quiet, we were the only guests
for five of our six days, and not many others at other hotels. The calm was
just fine after six days of intensive birding. TBH was cool that I forgot
the attached form, they just verified with you. They were even embarrassed
that we were told one morning that there was no coffee [when there really
was], so they gave us a complimentary dinner, and, regrettably fired the
young lady responsible for the mistake. The staff was really great. TBH, to
me, is the class of Treasure Beach hotels. OK it's the oldest and most
remote by a couple of hundred metres [a good excuse for a walk], the best
location high above the crashing waves on the beach, the best landscaping, a
pool with privacy, the food was more expensive than elsewhere but it was
easy to find other good eateries, including Frenchman's Reef a short
distance away. Your driver for the ride to the airport was early and
suitably careful on the route through the mountains, although I confess to
being tired of reggae Christmas carols after 2 1/2 hours.
All in all our Treasure Beach stay was just what we wanted and expected -
mostly just peaceful in beautiful surroundings.

Just a quick feedback on the wonderful day we had driving across Jamaica with Winston and then taking the boat ride to Floyd's Pelican Bar.
What a great once-in-lifetime experience! Floyd grilled us a fresh caught fish - I believe it was a yellowjack- and it was outstanding!! Overall a day we will
never forget! Winston was a wonderful gentleman, as was Floyd, and extremely well informed on Jamaica history, culture, etc plus he knew where the best prices
were for shopping for rum!! A+++ all the way. Thank you for arranging this wonderfull day for us.

The weather in Kenosha is good. It's hard to get me down after vacationing in Jamaica. I only wished that I could have stayed longer. One day, I am going to figure out
how to stay there and earn money for six months out of the year........
I really enjoyed Treasure Beach. It absolutely provided me with the type of vacation spot I was seeking for this trip. Very quiet, unspoiled, nice people.
I originally inquired about Jake's because I felt that I would get a good experience since they are connected with the Caves in Negril. I really enjoyed the Caves.
But, I am glad that I did not stay at Jake's this time, because what I really needed was the low key environment that I got a Mar Blue.
Mar Blue was a good place to stay. The room was a little shabby but the location was good. Andrea and Axel were overall nice people. The food was good on most days,
but there were days that it was very questionable. I missed having something to snack on during the noon hours. It's a long stretch from breakfast till dinner.
As a single traveler I did not jump right into venturing away, so there many hungry afternoons.
Rating Mar Blue overall for quality of stay, food, friendliness of staff on a scale for 1-10 with one being the completely dissatisfied and ten being completely
satisfied I would rate Mar Blue a 7. Treasure Beach I would rate 8.
I appreciate and value the service I receive with OneStop. Having Winston to pick me up for the past four or five years has been great. He is a very professional
driver and respectable man.
