Named for the natural local elements used in its architecture, Jakes Driftwood Spa lies nestled in a quiet seaside cove
and contains two spacious, outdoor treatment rooms on a coral stone deck. Body-and-soul nourishing treatments with a
unique holistic menu make way for a stress-free getaway.
"Many travelers come to Jakes for a little soul-searching," said Jason Henzell, Island Outpost President and owner of Jakes.

"I developed Caribbean Essentials with places like Jakes in mind," said Linda Hall the independent spa consultant
and holistic therapist who worked closely with the team at Jakes to develop the treatments and conceptualize
the project. "The property exudes a genuinely Jamaican vibe and charm that I just knew would work naturally
with my holistic approach to spa. Locals have always used herbs in teas and baths for medicinal purposes.
I developed Caribbean Essentials by pulling on the core of these healing rituals, adding a bit of honey here,
some sweet orange and rosemary there, a little rum and brown sugar and so on.
Theres nothing in my mixtures that doesnt have a purpose!"
