Treasure Beach hotel was opened in 1936 by an asthmatic Englishman who found health in this sunny, more arrid part of Jamaica, which may explain his choice of name for this property. A distinctive period of Arrawak (native) pottery was discovered here as well. This 36 room beachfront hotel is set on 11 beautiful tropical acres above the beach and offers many amenities.
